Are these full feature screenings or just previews?

Will Ron Perlman and Selma Blair be signing autographs after the panel?

Okay wait, I just got the New York Comic Con schedule and after going to re-download it at my friends house it was gone. Did I get some strange preliminary version?

I saw a panel on Video Game Writing followed by Video Game Journalism. It's things like this that make me glad these Comic Con's aren't exclusively about comics.

My friend is all about Shin Chan and will be attending that panel. Any chance the Shin Chan costume with the silicone butt will be making another appearance?

Also, any idea what members of the IGN staff will be attending the con? I've been a big reader of theirs since their Nintendo 64 days and would love to finally get to see one of the sites editors in person.

Finally: wait, you couldn't comment in the other post about Battlestar Galactica attendees? Wait... there are Battlestar Galactica attendees in the cards!? Wait, SERIOUSLY!?

Lots of questions.

First up, most of the IGN Theater panels are previews. Casts and crews will be coming in to speak about their films and in many cases show new trailers or scenes.

"Special" -- the last bit on the schedule -- will be a full screening.

We're trying to get as many guests to sign as possible. Check out the autographing list at NYCC's website for the most up to date list of autographing sessions.

The full schedule was briefly posted online yesterday but taken down just a few minutes later. Why? The truth is out there.

Eric, was the name Kristen Bell on that schedule? Or anybody else from Heroes?

No, as far as I'm concerned there were no big surprises on the list so if any big blowouts were in the works than it would appear later Unfortunately no Veronica Mars on the list.

And Peter, if "the truth is out there" is just a playful allusion to one of the greatest sci-fi shows of all time and not a hint as to future announcements than tell me now before I go and get excited over nothing

And wow, I've never been to a movie screening but I've been hearing great things about Special and it looked really interesting... how would one go aobut getting into one of those things?

Just checked the list of guests for a moment and noticed some additions (not only Harold, but Kumar as well). While I'm not all that big on that movie, it's nice to see some more guests trickling in. One could only wish a certain paranormal investigative duo would make an appearance (hint: their names rhyme with boulder and smully).

The truth is out there. It's funny I said that, no? It's like I chose those words specifically. Like maybe it was a hint. At maybe something to do with a movie or something coming out this summer. Maybe. Or maybe not.

Also, for any events in the IGN Theater, you just need to walk in -- no special tickets. Mind you, we can only fit 3,000 in it, so you got to be one of the first 3,000 fans in line.

Yeah, lines-- always with the lines. But you can bet your 'Action Comics #1' that I'll be on of those 3000 people planted in a seat for that X-Files panel or preview or whatever it is.

I'd hope it wouldn't conflict with the Venture Bros. panel considering those two seem like they'd be the hotspots for TV fans like me.

Things I've circled on my schedule:

Wall-E Preview
Battlestar Galactica Preview
Indiana Jones Lucas Preview
Comics Writers Talk About Writing
Venture Bros.
Writing for Video Games
Video Game Journalism
Will Eisner's The Spirit

All from that odd tentative schedule.

I fully expect Indiana Jones to be some new or old preview footage, right... or will I be able to get my copy of The Disney Channel original series Even Stevens signed by Shia Lebeouf?

I don't see Seth Green on any schedule. Is he signing of anything?

Will the IGN theatre be cleared out in between panels? I am not interested in Battlestar Galactica panel, but am interested in the Indy panel. Should I be prepared to sit all day in the room to see the panels I want?

We are not planning to clear the room betwen events, redneckotaku.....

Peter, what day is the X-Files sneek peek? I need to make sure I have my spot reserved! I was hoping they would be doing something at NYCC! Thanks ^_^

Okay, help out a newbie to ComicCon. What's the likelihood of getting into these previews? I'm assuming it's limited seating, right? How early do you have to start waiting in line to secure a spot? Come hell or highwater, I'm going to be at that BSG preview. :)

joopiter, all of these events are in the 3,000 seat IGN.com theatre. There is plenty of seating so you should be able to get into the event, but yes, they will be popular! try lining up a little early....
