T.M. Revolution Concert!

Beginning at least 2 hours before the huge T.M. Revolution concert Saturday night, thousands of TMR and J-Pop fines were lined up. In fact the line went from one end of the Javits Center to the other end and then some. That doesn't like much until you consider that the Javits Center is about 5 city blocks long!

The concert was awesome! Over 3,000 screaming fans, great video, light and sound and TMR! I can't believe it actually happened. We couldn't take pictures during thew concert, so this shot is of the crowd before TMR took the stage. Anime News Network will be streaming the entire concert though and we'll let you know as soon as it is live.

Thanks to TMR for an amazing night!!!!!

While the concert was awesomecakes I was incredibly pissed at the fact that they wouldn't let some people stand on chairs. I'm short and you got these 6+ foot guys standing in front of me so I can't see jack. I get up on a chair I can finally see something and then some butthole comes by telling me to get off. The setup isn't an arena, it's going to be hard to see they really need to chill the hell out. Other than that though I enjoyed the concert.

Hinano - As a tall person, I am really, really sorry!!!

As the con manager, we needed to say it for reason of safety. Those are folding chairs and we didn't want them to fold up on you!

I hope you had fun in spite of that.....

Absolutely great concert, it was a ton of fun. It was my second time seeing TMR in the US, and this was definitely the better of the two concerts!

I was one of the people that had been sitting in line since about 5ish, so I just want to add something about the crowd control: I saw very few security, staff, or volunteers maintaining the line outside during the entire time I was sitting there. When the doors opened, there was a massive wave of people that suddenly jumped the line and was cutting under the ropes. Some of my friends nearly got hurt by a group of guys shoving people out of the way to cut the line. Also, inside the concert, I was kinda shocked that no one was keeping people from standing in the aisles once the lights went down and the concert started. There was at least 15 people crammed into the aisle next to my seat, so I couldn't leave even if I wanted to unless I climbed over the chairs. Again, great concert and had tons of fun, but was just a bit shocked about the lack of crowd control.

No words can express my thanks, guys! I really loved the concert and I hope T.M.R. gets another opportunity to perform in the U.S. soon. We'll make it happen!

concert was amazing but crowd control could have been better, my sis is security staff at anext in nj, last yr a japanese band came and they had the line single file they made sure no one was cutting and no one stampeding in once the doors were open. i can understand some one put in line as others walk the floor, but yeah there were people just going under the rope and standing were my stop was. the american anime awards had better security i should say

but over all the best night of my life

Hands own the best concert I have ever been to. Front row was lucky for my friends and I since we had previously missed out on meeting him for an autograph and were kind of disappointed, so we started a line very early with another con-goer. We were waiting for 5 or so hours but it was DEFINITELY worth it.
I hope to see T.M.R. again, as he made my year with this and I was awed by his stage presence.
