NYAF Update - Taro Aso isn't coming

So, this morning we threw a Hail Mary to try to get Japanese PM Taro Aso to come to NYAF. Aso is an anime fan and in NYC for the UN. We actually got surprisingly far along, but Aso's people just let us know he's already on his way back to Japan. Current mood - Mucho depressed.
