The Prime Minister Has Left - and never entered - The Building

Our crack PR man, Roger Bilheimer was writing all morning with the Japanese Consulate to invite Manga loving Prime Minister Aso to the NY Anime Fest (he was in town visiting the UN). Alas, he has other plans. But we tried, see the email below!

Your invitation was passed along to the appropriate officers here at the Consulate. I was just informed that PM Aso will return to Japan today, so he will be unable to attend the festival.
