Personal NYCC Planner - iCon

When we talked to fans this fall, one of the things they told is they wanted was a tool to plan out there time at New York Comic Con, well here it is: iCon. Check it out, you can search the floor plan, look through panels and add everything to a calendar to help you plan out your time.....

Pretty cool.

Let me know what you think of it.

I think this is a pretty cool item. The only thing that I didn't see on the layout was the location of the VIP Lounge for VIP ticket holders. Can't wait for for Feb 6.

Does St Mark's Comics have a booth this year? I got some killer deals from them last year. Thanks.

I can top that, Dr5who; where's the IGN Theater? ;)

is there any kind of date you can give us as to when the tv panels will be posted?

Okay... way cool, Lance! Gold Star!

Now, some suggestions...

1) I made a nice list of exhibitors. It would be more useful if the Third Floor map highlighted those choices.

2) The panel room map... how about a schedule linked to each room, like you've linked exhibitors to specific booths?

3) The event schedule... WOW. Great job. How do I judge that? There are events that conflict at the same time! But... the list I made isn't chronological. The list I made doesn't generate a matrix of times. The list isn't printable. The list of events doesn't include the location and time along with the title of the event.

That's all that would make me happy. A printable list, sorted by time, that lists the time, the location, and the title of the event.

4) While the Artists' Alley isn't finalized, it would be nice to at least make a checklist of people I'd like to see.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm sharing all of this with the group we are partnering on in this project. I don't know that they can do everything that's been suggested here but I know they have already instituted some of the suggestions made here.....

I agree completely with the above. Very frustrating to use. Thanks!
