Breaking News: No Grant Morrison at NYCC

Man, this is not happy news for NYCC, fans or the Morrison family, but we learned today that Grant cannot make the trip to NYCC due to a family situation. We spoke to Grant personally, and I want to respect his privacy, but this is a really unfortunate situation with his mother that is far more important that NYCC. Grant said, “My apologies to everyone, and particularly to the readers I won’t get a chance to meet this time around due to circumstances beyond my control.”

I know this stinks, but family always comes first and this is a serious situation for the Morrison family, so please join me in sending good vibes across to pond, he was deeply disappointed to not be joining all of us.

This news caught us totally off guard today so we issued a press release as soon as we learned and we did not blog it first to all of you, my apologies.

If you bought an advance ticket for a signing with Grant, it will be automatically refunded and it should be done tonight. If after the con you have not seen that refund come through, please let us know right away.
