Joshua Jackson Comes To NYCC! Fringe Panel Moves Into The Big Room!

NYCC is thrilled to announce that Joshua Jackson will be appearing at NYCC as part of our Fringe panel – taking place Sunday, February 8. A critically acclaimed thriller, Fringe centers on an unlikely trio uncovering a mystery involving a series of unbelievable events and delves beneath the surface as the threat of a larger, more disturbing pattern blurs the line between the possible and the impossible. Fringe, from J.J. Abrams (Lost), Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci – the team behind Star Trek, Mission: Impossible III and Alias – and fellow executive producers Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Alias) and Bryan Burk (Lost, Alias), airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FOX. Jackson portrays Peter Bishop on the hit series. Previously announced panelists include Anna Torv (“Olivia Dunham”), John Noble (“Dr. Walter Bishop”), Jasika Nicole (“Astrid Farnsworth”), Lance Reddick (“Phillip Broyles”), Kirk Acevedo (“Charlie Francis”), and Blair Brown (“Nina Sharp”).

Additionally, due to the size of the appearing cast and fan response to our original panel announcements, NYCC will be moving the Fringe panel into our biggest room – the IGN Theater. NYCC’s Fringe panel will take place at 2 PM on Sunday, February 8 in the IGN Theater. The Fringe panel will directly follow NYCC’s Dollhouse panel featuring Joss Whedon and Tahmoh Penikett (12:45-1:45).

Select Fringe cast members will be autographing immediately following their panel in the Autograph Area in the rear of the Exhibition Hall. The Fringe autographing is not ticketed.

I assume the captain of the mighty ducks shall not be signing, as it does say select cast will.

Yay! And thanks to the con for being so smart about moving the room.

Does this mean we have to choose to either sit in on the panel or line up for the autograph session? I'm going to guess it's going to be a really long line before the panel is even done.

I'm a-wonderin', what with EW breaking the news that Anna Torv and Mark Valley have been married this whole time, are we sure he's not coming as well?

Are those who are planning to attend the FRINGE panel going to be automatically moved to the autograph table? Or is it wiser to just go to the autograph area?

Can't wait to see the panel sunday. I met John Noble (Dr Walter Bishop) this afternoon. He was very charming and very kind. And much more handsome in person. Which made him smile of course.. LOL.

Get there early people! The line will be huge!! :)

Did anyone go to this? I planned on going back to meet Joshua Jackson, but after seeing how poorly run the whole thing was yesterday, we didn't want to deal with it again. I'm hoping he'll be at something else!

I was there. I thought it was great. Saw clips and a preview of tuesday's episode. The whole cast was great. Funny as hell.

Also was at the Joss Whedon panel beforehand for Dollhouse. They were lots of fun too.

The only parts that I find annoying are the audience questions. There should be a 30 second time frame in which to ask said question and then move on down the road.

I really enjoyed the Fringe panel alot.
