Granta Interviews Paul Auster
My friend John Freeman from Granta shot this to me this weekend and as usual, it's worth hearing what Auster has to say in this Vid conversation between Freeman and Auster....
I got to meet Auster while doing a talk at the Brooklyn Book Festival a few years ago, and I'm always appreciative when literary geniuses like him are kind when they meet schlubs like me...And he was great......

As a writer, Paul Auster is one of the best but, sometime ago, I had the opportunity to meet him and the person had nothing to do with Hand to Mouth:A Chronicle of Early Failure main character. He seemed too self-centered.
Any way, maybe this was just an impression...
