Ed Hannigan Skull and Bones Support
Ed Hannigan, a comic artist of the 70’s and 80’s, is currently battling multiple sclerosis. To help him in his fight, Moonstone Entertainment announced that it will donate 100% of the profits of Ed Hannigan’s Skull and Bones graphic novel sold on www.moonstonebooks.com during the month of December directly to Hannigan.
With both story and art by Hannigan, Skull and Bones is a political-espionage thriller set in Yeltsin-era Russia. Following a disillusioned veteran of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, he aims to strike a death blow against the crumbling Soviet Empire; however, he's stopped by a mysterious computer wizard who plans to enlists him in a new struggle against his old commander -- who plans to unleash a terrible biological weapon.
The retail price is $15.95, but Moonstone is offering Skull and Bones at a special price of $10.95. Again, 100% of profits from Skull and Bones purchases at www.moonstonebooks.com will go to Hannigan.
Recently, the Hero Initiative announced a similar project showcasing Hannigan's work called Ed Hannigan: Covered, with proceeds from this collection also going directly to Hannigan.
Thanks to Ed Catto for the tip.
