We're proud to announce Avatar Press is coming to C2E2 and bringing the big guns. From showstopper names to international rising stars, the Avatar booth will be packed with 'em all. And, beyond signing in the booth and conducting panels, Avatar is offering a number of show exclusives and merchandise packages -- topping it all off with a special Avatar Friday Night!
From 8 PM to 10 PM on April 16, Avatar will present Max Brooks and George R.R. Martin in their first-ever joint appearance. Brooks's Zombie Survival lectures are a world-wide smash hit, and George R.R. Martin will present a very special reading of one of his favorite works. Jacen Burrows, Mike Wolfer, Gianluca Pagliarani, Christos Gage, and Brian Pulido will be on hand, as well, and mingling with the crowd. And, because it's classy, there'll be a cash bar, too.

Wow..... Avatar???? This is the big reveal for Wednesday? And not even in relation to the smash movie, but the little independent comic company?
There has to be another announcement today..... there just has to..... There is no way this was the big event for Wednesday....
I wonder where/when DC and Marvel announce who they are bringing to this show, because it sure as hell will not be on this site or their Twitter account until days before the show itself......

Check out whoever posts on the C2E2 twitter account...they claimed that atleast 1 name would "make waves".
Half of Avatar Press showing up, including GARTH ENNIS, is in no way 'weak'.
I think a lot of George R.R. Martin fans would disagree as well.
Can't wait for this show.
I was super bummed out about having to miss NYCC this year (at least Friday and Saturday), but C2E2 is definitely helping with that.
