Lance Briggs Charity Fundraiser - April 12
Lance Briggs is a Chicago Bear. And a huge comics fan. And a C2E2 guest. And he loves kids. And his charity -- Briggs4Kidz -- is hosting "A Reason to Dream" fundraiser on April 12th. Held at the Lumen (839 West Fulton Market) in Chicago, attendees will include Copeland Bryan with the Detroit Lions, Tim Shaw and other fellow Chicago Bears players and community VIPs.
Briggs4Kidz focuses on raising funds and providing guidance during hard economic times for poverty stricken youth. The foundation has participated in fundraisers since its 2006 launch with events in Chicago as well as other cities including Lance's hometown of Sacramento, CA and Phoenix, AZ.
"A Reason to Dream" will be featuring a silent auction, food, music and other fun entertainment throughout the evening.

Lance, we are about two weeks away from the show, and there has been little to no new buzz or information regarding it! Where are the exclusives (outside of those so-so Marvel ones)? Where is the C2E2 T-Shirt (we have a Star Wars Celebration one listed but none for this show)? Where is the autograph information we were promised on Twitter weeks ago? How about a floor map? Most of the C2E2 site tabs say coming soon..... most of this information should be up by now.

1. Exclusives - Items such as the C2E2 T-Shirt (you have a Star Wars Celebration one listed but none for this show currently)
The exclusives we have from exhibitors to date are up on the site. Lance: You are 100% correct; we need to get our show store merch laoded. I’ll make sure that gets done ASAP.
2. The autograph information - initially this was announced on the Twitter account weeks ago but no sign of anything yet. I know that the Kick Ass signing throws it into a blender, but what about such individuals such as Alex Ross. Will you be doing a similar move like NYCC where tickets will be handed out early in the morning?
Lance: This info is up and we’ll be adding more as we get updates from exhibitors and we add any sessions. No ticketed signings to date.
3. A floor map - This would help figure out the flow of the show ahead of time.

4. Like the ones listed above, most of the C2E2 site tabs say coming soon - shouldn't most of this information be up by now?
Lance: I only found one tab on the entire site that said coming soon and it was the show store.
