Star Wars Celebration 6 Update

I'm blogging while high right now....36,000 feet in the air high! On my way to San Francisco, but in spite of the title of this post, not see our pals at LucasFilm, but on other business. It's a quick, barely 48 hour West Coast swing then home for a few days.

So what was my point, oh yes Star Wars Celebration 6, of course. I've not posted anything in a while yet we've been working really hard on getting news ready for you. So let's just say that we are close to telling you something about when and where it will be and you might find the host city a real surprise.

Don't hold me to it, but I bet we'll have some real news (not just a mean spirited tease like this post is) in the next 8 weeks. Until then, you can put on your Lando mustache from C5 and relive the memories. Actually on that subject at both PAX East and C2E2 I saw a lot of C5 t-shirts, I mean like a dozen or so at each of our shows. I saw a lot of O Lando shirts and a few of the I Heart Scoundrels shirts on the ladies. Petty cool.

Ok, the pilot just said he sees a weird cloud formation ahead and everyone needs to be seated immediately. No kidding, he said that.

Hope this post gets you thinking about C6, I know I have been!

Would love for it come back to Orlando... It was my first one, but everyone I spoke too, who had been to the previous ones, said that it was the best one and loved the setup! Of course, I live in Orlando, so not having to pay for airline or hotels is also a motivation... ;)

I've been to the majority SW Celebrations and Orlando was the best out of them all in my humble opinion.

I'm hoping Orlando hosts it again. Last Tour to Endor was awesome and the convention center is great. I've gotta fly 2,000+ miles to get there but its worth it!

Well if it is a surprise then I have a feeling it wont be Atlanta. Maybe Baltimore or New York...hmmmm

Can't wait. Or rather I can. So much to do, so much to do.

I'm hoping it returns to Orlando, but who am I kidding? I'll go whereever they announce it.

Living in NY state I'm hoping for something on the east coast but has anyone tried to drive a car in NYC lately? I can't imagine the congestion with a 4 day SW con in town.

Can you say $60/day parking? And that's if you don't move the car.

I've trooped at a few NYC events with my R2 and it's impossible to walk a NYC block in less than an 1/2 hour with an R/C droid.

Philadelphia is just as bad. I suspect Boston might be worse.

Dear lord, let it go back to Indianapolis.

I attended Star Wars Celebrations since Celebration III. Going to USA from Spain, in Europe.
My wish is to repeat Los Angeles location for Celebration 6.
The convention center was huge, the cues well organized, the prices were ok, and the city was awesome for doing "something else" the rest of the days I was there.
Orlando was great too, anyway, and with lots of things to do.
I hope Indianapolis is not returning back because even if I have great memories for being my first celebration (and my first trip outside my country), camping at 6-7 am in the morning for entering at 10am after standing in the worst and longest cue ever, freezing cold wheather and raining...it was not so great.
Also, the city had very little to offer in comparison with Orlando or Los Angeles.
Anyway... let the Celebration 6 speculation begin! Anytime... anywhere...

Is SWCVI going to be on the same 3-year cycle the rest have always been? I need some time to save up for the premium passes. :P

I would vote for Orlando too. I just loved CV and the great part about it too was so much to see and do as well. I enjoyed CIV for sure and LA again would also be fine. But I'd prefer Orlando. Of the 3 I've been to, that was my favorite. Please not Salt Lake City. I'M NOT GOING THERE.
