Cosplay Is Go!

We're today excited to announce NYAF and NYCC's Masquerade is now accepting entries online! Taking place Saturday night in our IGN Theater, the Masquerade is an event that's part fashion show and part talent show, featuring competitors spanning the worlds of anime, comics, movies, television, toys, game, and -- if I've got a say in it -- a category dedicated to the 10th Doctor.

This year's event will be live-streamed online via our friends at Gaia Online and 24-hour Asian American television network Mnet will be following select competitors preshow as well as at the convention for a special which'll air after NYCC.

We've got a number of prizes in the works for this year's Masquerade, but we'll start off by saying our Best in Show takes home a giant, fake novelty check as well as a cool, real $1,000.
