Nerdist Channel Is Go

We had a lot of people filming at New York Comic Con. A number of news programs and TV shows were at the con, recording footage and features you'll be seeing here and there for the next year.  Among the crews at the show, were fine folks from something we couldn't talk about yet.  The Nerdist Channel.  Only officially announced last week, The Nerdist Channel is a partnership between Nerdist Industries, The Jim Henson Company, GeekChicDaily, Broadway Video Entertainment, and YouTube, and it'll feature original nerd culture content -- both long-form programming as well a shorts.

Says the Nerdist himself, Chris Hardwick...

"This will be a perfect platform for maintaining the integrity of the artists’ vision while being able to turn things around efficiently to preserve freshness, like hot bread for your eyes. Beyond that, I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful group of partners to manifest this shared vision. I know it sounds corny, but we really all came together under the idea of, Let’s just be nice to each other and make cool stuff together.”

Details will be coming out over the next few months, but -- from what was shot at NYCC alone -- there's going to be some awesomeness when the Nerdist Channel goes live.

Congrats, Chris!
